CDSP is part of CESSDA (the Council of European Social Science Data Archives), a European portal for access to archived survey data.

The CESSDA website allows access to the catalogues of each of its members and to several other research organizations throughout the world as well.

CESSDA offers its services to both educational and research institutions. Its missions include:

• Allowing access to multiple sources of national survey data
• Offering support for data compilation, allowing users to make international comparisons
• Supporting the development of and adherence to standards for maintaining a data collection
• Working for the simplification and standardisation of procedures for the storage and distribution of data

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) provides access to an important catalog of social sciences research data for research and academic purposes. The consortium offers trainings in quantitative analysis of data.

ICPSR assists researchers in identifying data that is appropriate for analysis and use in their research projects.

A department of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, the ICPSR is an organization that includes more than 500 universities throughout the world.
